It has been a while since the last time I looked at the TechTalkBlogs Technorati stats… so I thought I was about time to see how things have changed since the end of July.  I am proud to present the latest TechTalk Top 25 Rankings (as at 3 September 2006)

(to explain the stats, using the first ranked blog as an example, the TechTalk Top 25 rank has not changed, and their Technorati rank has dropped two spots from 13 to 15)

Special mention to the following movers and shakers…

  • Juha’s hairy and dangly tech bits: Up 18 Places!
  • Freitasm: Up 13 Places!
  • Paul Glavich: Up 9 Places!

Taking the TechTalk Top 25 as a whole, the influence of the group on the blogosphere has increased.  Last time I ran the numbers, the average rank of a TechTalk Top 25 member was 29243.96.  This time the rank is 26520.52… or an increase in influence by ~10% over 6 weeks!

Between now and the next TechTalk Top 25 report I will have hopefully automated the research process, and will be able to give more interesting stats and pretty graphs!

And for those who want to know where I am on the list?  Somewhere past 100.. due to the fact I moved my blog and its address since the last report.  I will be back in the thick of things next time though!

Thanks for doing the work Paul. I’m always into a vanity lists ;) .

Woah, another 18 and I’ll be Someone! :)

Small request… could I have the blog’s current name, The Techsploder, in the list instead of the arguably more funny but less suitable for public consumption older one?

    Cheers – Juha

    You left out Tim Blair:

    and Yaro Starak:

    http://technorati.com/search/entrepreneurs-journey.com

and I am sure there are other Aussie bloggers who are doing well that aren’t on this list, but thanks for the mention (from somebody who doesn’t take his blog seriously)

[Paul W] Nik… I only listed those in the TechTalkBlogs OPML… but it would be great to get a list like this of all Aussie bloggers [/Paul W]
