Windows Live Writer

August 27th, 2006

Just downloaded Windows Live Writer.  My thoughts after 3 minutes with the product:

  1. Nice User Interface
  2. I can see how this will make my blog work more productive, especially when I am currently ramping up a number of blog projects
  3. For some reason I can not click and drag to select the “Title”, instead it will simply select title and copy it.  I am sure that will be annoying in the future
  4. Looks CPU intensive for ~20/30 seconds when processing the Map data

The following are just a couple little things that I want to test.  Do not be worried if things look funny or broken from here on.

Test Insert Image from File (with Photopaper Border)

Test Insert Maps
